Nesec was founded in 1946 with a dual purpose, namely to promote the export of Dutch built ships and provide subordinated loans to shipowners. As such, Nesec has been active for more than 70 years as financial instution for the maritime sector. Even now Nesec aims to provide loans to in particularly Dutch built ships. Besides this Nesec is developing credit funds to provide long term financing of maritime and offshore capital assets.
